I have a 40 gallons Bradford White electric water heater that was installed mid-90s, through a precedent. Owner. The switch is in order. How do I know if I have a new item / s, or a new water-heating system need? The heater is in a small confined space in my hometown. This is a better tank system for the region?

If you say you had to reset the heater, I suppose that means to press the red button in the center of the thermostat higher. This is usually a sign that we need a new thermostat, but while in the field, as you can see the elements. They do this by a thin margin of one of the two screws for the head element, with the juice of course, and endurance test with an ohm meter, the two screws on each item. The reading should use from 12.3 to 12.7 ohms. Each value is above or below this area needs to be replaced and the thermostat higher.

I think a time of warming of the water of life is usually 7 to 15 years, depending on what you believe or not prices. If you can afford it, a tankless system hook someone in your house, have great ... Hot water, unlimited and you only pay for the water to heat ... Oh, by the way, if there are new water heater on the floor and a new number, if you sell electrical problems (such as) Remember that your water heater is approx. 14 years and you can settle the matter and get the floor drain Goodluck tomorrow ... ..
